How to use the piano tuner
- Allow microphone access: Click the "Start Listening" button to enable audio analysis.
- Play a note: Strike any key on your piano. The strobe dial will show you exactly how many cents flat or sharp you are.
- Adjust A4 Reference: If your piano is tuned to A=442Hz or A=432Hz, use the settings menu to adjust the reference frequency.
- Stretch Tuning: Acoustic pianos require "stretched" tuning (sharp high notes, flat low notes) to sound in tune with themselves due to inharmonicity. Temperatio automatically calculates the Railsback curve for you.
